THE WONDER OF STEVIE

My friend Ricky called me the other day and told me that he had the best seats for the upcoming Stevie Wonder concert.  The show is right around my birthday, and we had been talking about going.  What a better way to celebrate my birthday than with one of my favorite artists of all time?  He said he had four tickets, and we discussed who else should come with us to the concert.  We decided that Billy and Frank would really enjoy seeing Stevie with us.  This past summer I took a Motown class with them at university and had learned a lot about Stevie Wonder in the class.  It really impressed me the talent he had at such a young age.  As the days grew closer to the concert I got more and more excited.  I could hardly think of anything else except for the concert.  It was really hard to concentrate at work.  Finally the day had arrived, but the weather could not be worse.  The venue was outdoors, and they had to postpone the show until the next day.  Imagine being so excited to see something, only to find out you were going to have to wait another day.  All things considered, the concert was amazing and well worth the wait.
