MUSEUM ADVENTURE

I was feeling like I was getting lost.  I found myself back in the huge lobby of the museum again; just when I was afraid I might have wandered down a maze of hallways and into some boiler room somewhere.  I kept looking around for the front exit, but I just couldn’t find it.  A little kid bumped into me and didn’t say, “excuse me”, nor did his mother.  How obnoxious can you get?  I could see where the gift shop, or rather one of the gift shops was, so I started in that direction.  There were a whole bunch of schoolchildren walking in a single-file line but I couldn’t tell whether they were leaving, entering the museum or just walking through the lobby en route to another exhibit.  At some point I was getting really tired, so I stopped for a minute and leaned against a pole.  A sign indicated exhibit admission and event tickets.  The major exhibit right now was about prehistoric man.  That’s probably what I’m going to look like by the time I find my way out of this lobby, I thought.  At last, an employee came walking in my direction, stopped and asked if they could help me.  They showed me which way to go to get to the front door.  Whew!
