BEAUTIFUL GIRL
I spent my entire weekend at the african american hair loss convention. My friends and I thought it would be fun and, surprisingly, it was! One of my friends had to go because she's been having some problems in that area. We're trying to be as supportive of her as we can. It's just something that runs in her family and she was hoping she wouldn't have to deal with the same issues. She's only in her twenties so we know she's feeling really sensitive about it. Whether or not she has hair doesn't change the fact that she's just a beautiful girl. We always tell her that. Of course she doesn't believe us but she honestly has the bone structure of a model. She has this smooth, clear skin and really high cheekbones and the most amazing eyes! We keep telling her she should be a professional model. I always joke with her that even if it meant I had to lose all my hair, I would gladly swap places with her. I'm serious about that. I mean, even at this convention the guys were coming up to our group because they wanted to talk to her. They were so drawn to her face that they weren't even noticing her hair. All of this happened before she even started trying on some of the wigs that they had at one of the booths. She's pretty modest about it, but I think she even walked away from this event with a few guys' phone numbers! And I think some of our modelling talk rubbed off on her because I saw her pick up a modelling entry form for people who were losing their hair. Some company wanted a new face for the packaging of their product and I think she's finally going to go for it!
