Michigan has a lot of lakes and a lot of factories and some good beaches. It is also loaded with lawyers of every stripe and price. We had to look for a personal injury attorney in Michigan. Tara had really been suffering with her ankle injury. Most people wouldn't consider that lawsuit material, but Tara is a real estate agent, and being on her feet is important. She has to use a cane now. Doctors say that with proper therapy she could possibly be close to one hundred percent, but we have exhausted all our coverage, and the hotel's insurance company will not be paying anything. So we have little choice. We talked to Seymore, our lawyer, and he told us that we would have to get someone in Michigan. He had a few names that he gave us, and we followed up, but they were all too busy and could not take on our case for a couple of months, at least. This would do no good. Our thoughts were that the longer Tara walked on the bad ankle the longer the odds that she could get a full recovery.
